| | Workshops/Community Training
Do you remember the team on your Emmaus Walk? God does miraculous, superb, heartwarming, healing, uplifting work on every weekend! You couldn't have had your weekend experience without the members of the team.
Do you want to give to someone else what was given to you on your weekend? The walk cannot occur without a team. Consider serving on an Emmaus Walk team. Serving on a Walk is a huge blessing and a fantastic gift to give. BUT, we may have no idea YOU would like to serve. If you want to serve, let us know. You will receive training at team meetings so that you can serve God in this way. Community training is NOT required to serve on a team (a servant's heart and God's love is all that is required). ONCE AGAIN, IF YOU WANT TO SERVE, contact any board member to let us know.
You can serve on a team with only the training given at the formation meetings of the team prior to the walk. But, community training can be very valuable preparation prior to serving on a team. The board wants to make it easy to get this training. So, community training sessions are now often held in conjunction with gatherings. If you want to take the training and learn more about the Emmaus Walk movement, contact a board member or check this website periodically.

The regular meeting night for the Mid-Michigan Emmaus board of directors is the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The board meets at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2206 Airfield Lane, Midland MI 48642. Members of the community are welcome at all board meetings. If you have an item for the agenda, please contact the Community Lay Director prior to the meeting. The members of the board and their current roles and responsibilities are listed on the Contacts page.
